Currently, HST is using intermodal freight transport in Scandinivia. In Sweden the trailers arrive by boat in Trelleborg, they are transported by train to Eskilstuna and from there they travel by road to the various final destinations. In the future, intermodal transport will be increased in Scandinavia because of the positive experience. A same route will be created from Trelleborg to Norway, by the route of Göteborg to Oslo.
Also containers from and to Rotterdam, Antwerp or Hamburg are, if possible, moved to inland terminals by barge or rail. After arrival at our nearby container terminal in Hengelo, they will conintue their way over land to their final destinations.
