Certificates & memberships

Below is an overview of our certificates and memberships (including their significance): 

ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System)
ISO 9001 offers directives for a quality management system. In short: the quality of processes within an organization. With this certificate, organizations show that they meet the standard. 

ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) 
ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard for environmental management systems. An ISO 14001 certificate forms proof of an organization’s intention to improve environmental performance. This certificate only applies to HST International B.V. 

AEO (Customs Facilitation & Safety) 
This certificate allows Customs to recognize international organizations as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). Companies with an AEO certificate will be checked less in cross-border trade, and receive priority in customs checks. 

Lean & Green 
In addition to HST International B.V.'s ISO 14001 certification (also focused on sustainability), HST holds the “Lean and Green 3rd Star.” This award crowns our ongoing commitment to sustainability and efficiency as a logistics service provider. 

IATA & Recognized Air Freight Agent (Air Freight Simplification)
As an IATA member (International Air Transport Association) we purchase directly from airlines, to be able to offer competitive rates. IATA is a trade organization that supports airlines, draws up norms, and functions as a cooperative body between all airlines. Additionally, we are a recognized air freight agent. Our shipments will be admitted to airports quicker, and are subjected to checks less often. 

HACCP (Food Safety System) 
By following HACCP guidelines, we handle food safely and hygienically. 

FENEX (Dutch Forwarders Trade Association) 
All our activities are regulated by the most recent version of the (FENEX) Dutch Forwarding Terms, including its arbitrage clause. This trade association protects the interests of Dutch forwarders.

Safety first

HST Groep employs specially trained safety advisors. They are happy to help you with questions regarding quality, safety, transport, or storage of hazardous goods. Our staff has personal certificates and diplomas for working safely.
