Transport and logistics company HST Groep from Enschede has acquired Noordendorp Transport and MIGRO Logistiek. On the evening of Thursday, December 22, both directors of HST Groep and Noordendorp Groep, Gerard ter Brugge and Michel Wentink respectively, announced this to their employees.

Noordendorp Transport is based in Haaksbergen. The main activities of Noordendorp Groep include construction logistics, general cargo in the Benelux and Germany, and the transport of hazardous materials (ADR). Noordendorp Transport has multiple storage facilities with a total area of 25,000 m². With a history of over a hundred years and the designation of Hofleverancier (By Appointment to the royal family of the Netherlands), the transport company is a well-established name in the region.

MIGRO Logistiek is a courier and transport company based in Zwolle. The company was founded in 1981 and has been part of Noordendorp Groep since July 1, 2017.

Continuing under their own names

The main reasons for the acquisition are long-term business succession, the necessary scaling up, and further commitment to sustainability through the electrification of logistics services. Noordendorp and MIGRO will continue under their own names within HST Groep.

Optimization of goods traffic

The acquisition of Noordendorp Groep is an asset for HST Groep, strengthening its activities in the transport market. In addition to the current 430 employees of HST Groep, the 85 employees, 35 trucks, and 50 trailers are a significant expansion. Additionally, the service will be further optimized in both goods transportation and storage space.
